Month 2 Results

Here are the results. This month is definitely looking different from the month before. Carli is still in the lead. Good job Carli!! Keep up the good work. We are only half way through which is a lot of time to either make a comeback or completely fall off of the wagon. This is still anybody's game. Don't get discouraged. I am so proud of you and you guys are doing a great job. As a group we have collectively lost 141.1 pounds bringing the group percentage to 3.36%.

Here are the results. Everyone seems to be pretty close with the exception of the top 2 who are standing out above us all. The difference between 3rd place and 9th place is 1%. It looks like everyone is doing well. This is still anybody's game. Keep up the good work! As a group we have collectively lost 108 pounds bringing the group percentage to 2.51%.

Here it is. The page has been updated. I'm not really impressed with the new look but it will do for now.

I have invited all the new competitors to the contibute to the blog so all you need to do is accept the invitation. You can comment to posts without being invited but once you accept the invitation you will be able to post things yourself.

Just wanted to say GOOD JOB to everyone who worked hard to diet and exercise to lose weight. You deserve a pat on the back. And I want to give a great big High 5 to Traci. You are our big winner and you should be proud of it. This has been fun and I hope to keep up my plan. It might be slow and easy for me but at least I am making a effort to achieve my goal.

Before I post the results, I just want to appologize for not getting these results up last week. For once, everyone else was on time and I was not. I should have thought the date through a little better with the wedding and everything. Thanks for getting your weights to me and again, please my accept my sincerest appologies.

As a group, we have collectively lost 78.6 pounds and 3.64% of our body weight. Our biggest loser has lost 15.5 pounds and 8.50% of their body weight. So after 2 months and much hard work and determination I am pleased to announce that THE BIGGEST FAMILY LOSER is.... Traci.

I might not have lost the most weight on our family loser competition BUT I did win one of the five prizes at Curves for the Quest Competition they held. The competition lasted for the entire month of September. There were several things we have had to do in order to win. I met all these qualifications. The prize wasn't big but at least I WON! And even though I haven't lost much weight I have lost about 8 inches over all.

Everyone keep up the good work. I am not giving up and still going for the big WIN!!!!

I know. I am almost 2 weeks late posting this. I left for California last week and thought i'd have internet access but i didn't really until my last day. The last weigh-in before the final one is Monday. So please get those weights to me ASAP next Monday, October 15. As a group we have collectively lost 49.4 pounds which calculates to a 2.30% loss. We can do much better than that. It's kind of sad really. Let's give this last few weeks a strong finish!! Let's kick some weight loss butt.

The results are in! Thanks everyone for getting your weigh-ins to me. Are you ready to find out who's winning as of right now? Collectively as a group, we have lost a total of 1.86%. That's not bad but we can do soooo much better. Here are the results.

On Today's Menu

No clue if I'll win, but I will definitely lose.

I've never done this so I'll start by revealing today's food and exercise.

Breakfast
2 organic eggs
1 strip natural bacon
8 oz glass 100% ruby red pink grapefruit juice

Lunch
1.5 cup green salad
*organic mixed greens, roma tomatoes
1/2 liter bottle diet coke

Snack
1 snack bag popcorn
1/2 liter bottle diet coke
WATER

Supper
1/2 cup green salad
*same as above with 1 TBS poppy seed dressing
1/2 cup serving homemade lasagna
* whole wheat noodles
* organic marinara sauce
* turkey Italian sausage
* chopped spinach
* cheese mixture - whole milk ricotta, parmesan, egg
* sun-dried tomato sauce on top)
4 oz glass red wine
(I made, but skipped the homemade herb bread.)

For exercise:
I know it sounds silly, but I powerwalked around Walmart and built up quite a sweat. It's not really exercise, but tonight I let Lily show me her new steps in gymnastics, tap, ballet. Gymnastics was out, but I let her "teach" me the rest.
Does cleaning the house to near perfection count? We have an in-home inspection tomorrow at 11 am by the adoption agency and another one at 3:30 pm on Thursday with CPS. They're all routine, but necessary.

And that's all she wrote tonight.
